Sterling silver 'Ocean' Torque hand-sculpted using an ancient Japanese technique called Mitsuro Hikime which translates as honey wax. I cast the wax in sterling silver using recycled antique Georgian and Victorian spoons. The design of the torque is inspired by living by the Dorset coast and the patterns in the water currents of the surf and the sea.
The internal oval of the torque measures 64mm long x 50mm wide.
The external measurement is 77mm long x 60mm wide.
The width of the torque is 14mm x 9mm at its widest points.
The torque bangle would suit a medium-sized wrist but it is adjustable and can be made smaller or larger. If you are unsure then please provide your wrist size and I can advise on suitability.
The torque is hallmarked at the Goldsmiths Assay Office in London.
It will be posted in a gift box.
